Lizzie’s Pecan Pie

1 cup light corn syrup

3/4 cup sugar

3 eggs (slightly beaten)

3 tablespoons butter

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 cup chopped pecans

Boil sugar and syrup together about two minutes. Pour slowly over beaten eggs, stirring well. Add butter vanilla and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Pie is done when puffed across the top.
